FAQs
We are able to provide this Christian counselling ministry to those who have made The Well Community Church their home church.
This ministry is being made available through our sponsor church, Gateway Church in Caledonia. They have purchased a Congregational Assistance Plan (CAP) from Shalem Mental Health Network. CAP has been modeled after that of an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), which is how many companies offer brief solution-focused counselling support to their employees.
CAP covers the full cost for 6 counselling sessions.
Absolutely. CAP covers the full cost for the first 6 counselling session. You have the option to continue beyond this coverage should you feel it necessary.
No. You do not need to talk to the pastoral staff in order to access counselling with Shalem. All information shared is kept confidential.
However, we want to let you know that we are still here for you and would still love to walk with you and provide what pastors and lay pastors do which is to pray for you and encourage you.
