FAQs

Answers to some questions you may have about our internships.

What is the purpose of the internship?

The Well’s Summer Internship position will be primarily responsible for helping run, facilitate and grow the Kids Ministry at The Well.

This includes running community events at the local splash pad, preparing for and running a one-week day camp program at the end of July (24 – 28), and being hands-on in our Sunday morning Kids Zone program.

Our goal is to make Kids Zone the best hour a kid’s week as we help them take their next step toward Jesus!

What is the length of the internship?

We have been approved for two summer interns.

Each internship is for 8 weeks starting on Monday, June 12 and ending on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

How many hours per week are required?

Each internship position is 35 hours per week.

While there is some flexibility in your schedule there are also some specific dates and times that will be required, including Sunday mornings from 8:00 – 10:30am.

Do I need a personal vehicle?

Short answer: Yes!

Having your own transportation will certainly help. While Binbrook is a smaller community this internship will require travelling within town to setup for and run community events and may also require some travel to gather and purchase supplies.
